ISL – Odisha FC comes back to Bhubaneswar

after playing its initial three home games in Pune in the 6th period of Indian Super League, Odisha FC will have its matches in the city’s Kalinga Stadium from December 27.

Their first game in Bhubaneswar will be against Jamshedpur FC.

Attributable to the deferral in the finish of the upgradation work at the Kalinga Stadium for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2020, the Bhubaneswar-based ISL club needed to move its initial three games to Pune.

Of those three matches, Josep Gombau’s Odisha FC drew against ATK, lost to Bengaluru and dominated its last match against Hyderabad FC.

Illuminating about the home games in Bhubaneswar, Odisha FC CEO Ashish Shah stated, “It has been an intense season so far for the whole group as we have played all games from Bhubaneswar. We are glad to now play before our fans. Individuals in the state are energetic about sports and we are cheerful that they will come in large numbers to help us at our home – Kalinga Stadium.”
