History
BCCI announced the established of the Indian Premiere League on September 2007 and t20 competition to be started in 2008. The Rajasthan Royals were one of the original team in the first season of the IPL in 2008.
Rajastahn Royals was making it the least expensive team in the first season in IPL.
Rajasthan Royals team anthem used to be Halla Bol. And in the first IPL season the RR team anthem song was sung by Ila Arun. In the second season, it was sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The Rajasthan Royals curreant anthem released in 2018, is Phir Halla Bol.
In 2015, the team was banned for two years by the BCCI with its owner Raj Kundra for life.
Rajasthan Royals team’s mascot is a lion named Moochu Singh.
The home venue of the Rajasthan Royals is the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This stadium is the one of the best stadium in the India.
